City Councils to Discuss Redevelopment Projects

East Lansing's City Council will meet Tuesday to talk about the future of a redevelopment project.

The city center two project would bring two new mixed used buildings downtown. Last year, the council voted no on a plan to turn the empty space into a state of the art retail center and asked for more ideas from the public.

The meeting begins at 7:30p.m.


In Meridian Township, the township board will talk about the proposed Brownfield Plan for the Douglas J redevelopment project.

A public hearing is expected in February.

Also on the agenda is regulations for medical marijuana.

That meeting begins at 6p.m.
