Investigators Say Morning Fire Could Be Meth Related

HOLT, Mich. (WLNS) - A morning fire that torched a mobile home could have been sparked by someone making meth, according to investigators with the Ingham County sheriff's department.

The fire broke out at the Windmill Mobile Home Park in Holt around 4:30 a.m.

Deputies say a man and woman were inside when the fire broke out. One man suffered burns to his hands.

A meth team has collected some evidence, but deputies are waiting for a search warrant before they take a more in-depth look at the property.

The trailer suffered extensive damage and appears to be a total loss.
