Denver, CO (PRWEB) January 18, 2013

Andrew Hawley from Vintage Rock Posters, a serious buyer of original 1950's and 1960's boxing style rock n roll concert posters, announces his search for original 1958 Buddy Holly Big Beat concert posters. According to Hawley, "This tour featured many great acts of the day including Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Alan Freed, a Cleveland based DJ at WJW radio, was a legendary concert promoter that brought the latest and greatest talent to the Midwest with some excursions to the east coast. Freed coined the word rock n roll."

Hawley adds,"The poster was printed by Murray Poster Company based in New York City. It features photos of the Big Beat tour acts. The poser measures 17x22 inches and printed on cardboard. Murray also printed a three sheet poster that was printed on thin paper and simply features the acts along with their photos but does not provide any specific concert information. The sheet poster was used to advertise the upcoming acts and artists performing."

Hawley is willing to pay $5,000 cash for this or any other vintage 1950's Buddy Holly or Alan Freed concert posters. Please call 310-346-1965 or email andrew (at) vintageconcertposterbuyer (dot) com.
