Group to be Recognized for Saving a Boys Life

Special recognition will be given Monday night to a group of an Ovid-Elsie athletic director and coaches for saving a boys life.

Many say that this group of people saved a boys life last fall when the teen went into cardiac arrest and collapsed on the Ovid-Elsie High School football field.

The coaches immediately responded and the athletic director grabbed the school's defibrillator which shocked the boy's heart, starting it again.

The school will recognize those who helped the boy at Monday's school board meeting.

The meeting will start at 7pm in the school auditorium.
