For showing true Americanism, Girard Equipment was honored with this celebrated accolade.

Vero Beach, FL (PRWEB) January 24, 2013

Having pride in the American flag has been a staple of the Girard Equipment company since opening its doors in 1952. In showing their patriotism Girard Equipment displays a physical flag at all of its US locations, company apparel, and even on the parts exported from their Florida manufacturing facility. As a whole, Girard Equipment has always been proud of its American roots and the value of the skilled American worker. That is why it was no surprise that the Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast chose to acknowledge Girard Equipment with their highest praise for Americanism: The "Proudly We Hail" Award.

Americanism is one of the pillars of the Exchange Club and honoring local businesses that share in this ideal is the essence of the "Proudly We Hail" Award. “We may think globally but we act locally and we are proud to be American made," explained Director of Marketing Anna Valencia. Girard Equipment President, Tim Girard, was joined by Anna Valencia and Michael Fernandez, GEI directors, to accept the custom plaque. They were accompanied by various Exchange Club members from the Treasure Coast Chapter. For more commentary visit the GEI blog at http://www.girardequip.com.
