Many Hospitalized From Salmonella

As a result of salmonella food poisoning from ground beef in Michigan, 16 people have fallen ill and some hospitalized.

The salmonella is linked to a raw ground beef dish called Kibbeh from Gab Halal Foods and Jouni Meats, both located in suburban Detroit.

Those who have fallen ill have been from not only Michigan, but Arizona, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.

Health officials say it is an important reminder to never eat uncooked meat.
