Crime Stoppers: 1 Attempt to ID and 2 Wanted for Felonies

This week, Mid-Michigan Crime Stoppers is asking for help in a home invasion report and the search for two people wanted for felonies.

The East Lansing Police Department has been investigating a series of unlawful entries and one home invasion, where a resident was assaulted while the suspect was trying to flee. All of these incidents have occurred at the same residence in the area of Park Lane and Beech St.

These incidents occurred between the months of August 2011-September 2012. The victims encountered the same suspect in each case sleeping or pretending to sleep in random places within their home.

The suspect has been described by three witnesses as being a black male with a light to medium skin tone. They say the man is 5'10"-6', with a skinny build and weighing 170-180lbs. He is bald or has a very close cut hair cutwith some stubble facial hair.

They are also looking for the following two individuals with felony warrants for forgery out of Lansing.

19-year-old Akive Ahmad Edwards is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. Edwards is 5'11" and weighs 175 pounds.

23-year-old Nicholas Joseph Fry is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. Fry is 6' and weighs 170 pounds.
