Upgrades Planned for DNR's Licensing System

LANSING, Mich. (AP) - The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says its licensing system will be taken offline for a few days this month to complete upgrades.

The department announced Tuesday that the Retail Sales System for hunting, fishing, snowmobile, off-road vehicle and a variety of other licenses will be offline for the upgrades. The outage is scheduled to run from February 18 at 11: 30 p.m. through Feb. 21 at 1 p.m.

License sales at retail stores as well as online license sales through the DNR's e-license website won't be available during that time.

The DNR says the scheduled down time is part of a multi-year, multi-phase system upgrade.
