Crime Stoppers: Cold Case, Assistance and Wanted for Felonies

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Crime Stoppers of Mid-Michigan is asking for the public's help in information in two cases and finding three people wanted for felonies.

Cold Case: On August 1, 2009, shots were fired into a home on the 900 block of West Cavanaugh in Lansing. Edric Raynard Hinton, 19, was hit and killed during the incident, but police have reason to believe he was not the intended target.

If you have any information on the identity of who may have fired the shots, you're asked to call the detectives at Lansing PD at (517) 483-6882 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP.

Assistance: On April 21, 2012, several of valuable coins was stolen from a home on the 2800 block of W. Willow across from the St. Joseph Cemetery in Lansing Township. A second incident occurred at the same house on the evening of October 14. The suspect(s) assaulted the homeowner and restrained him. He once again stole several valuable coins.

A reward up to $6,000.00 is being offered for the arrest of the suspect(s). If you have any information, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-STOP.


Wanted for Felonies

Tyrazes Caprice Brown, 25, has a felony warrant for a weapons offense out of Lansing. He's described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. Brown is 5'8" and 190 pounds.

Matthew Peter Jackson, 41, has a felony warrant for burglary out of Lansing. He's described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. Jackson is 5'6" and 195 pounds.

Uriah Shakeem Jackson, 18, has a felony warrant for burglary out of Lansing. He's described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. Jackson is 5'6" and 195 pounds.
