Man Arrested After Allegedly Pointing Gun At Police

LENNON, Mich. (WLNS) - A Burns Township man is behind bars after driving through a residential area, shouting and pointing a gun out the window of his vehicle Wednesday evening.

The 43-year-old man was allegedly driving in the area of Brooks and Riniel Road when police were dispatched. While police were searching for the man, he came back to the area, got out of his car and allegedly pointed a pellet rifle designed to look like an assault rifle at a deputy.

The suspect was then taken into custody without any further issues. He is currently in custody for felonious assault at the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office without bond.
