Meth Moves In Part One

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - It's a dangerous drug that many once thought was just a rural problem: meth. But state police tell 6 News that the drug is migrating into suburban areas and cities like Lansing.

Tri-County Metro Narcotics Squad Lieutenant Timothy Gill says meth has made a big comeback over the last few years. In 2007, there were 202 meth incidents across the state. Last year, that number was 553, more than double.

In Lansing, there have been 30 meth incidents since 2009, with almost half from 2012 alone.

Emerald Morrow takes a deeper look into the problem in "Meth Moves In." To see the entire report, watch the video above.
