Lugnuts Hold Job Fair

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- The Lansing Lugnuts are looking for people who are looking for a summer job.

The ball club hosted it's annual job fair at the Lansing Center today.

The organization is looking for seasonal workers to fill positions in several departments this up-coming season.

Those openings are in departments like food service, retail, and operations. Organizers say they always have a great turn-out for the event and this year wasn't any different.

"Every year we have probably over a thousand people that turn out," said Nick Grueser who helped organize the event. "We has everybody from 16-year-olds that it's their first job to retirees that are looking for something to do to even people that this is their second job we have not had a problem getting people to come and apply."

The Lugnuts season kicks off this year with the cross town showdown against MSU on April 11.
