Man Arrested for Allegedly Smashing Car Windows


SUMMIT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - A man is behind bars after Jackson sheriff's deputies say he smashed car windows with a baseball bat.

It happened around 2a.m. along the 100 block of South Brown Street in Summit Township.

Deputies say when they pulled the suspect over, the 22-year-old was drunk and had stolen property in his car.

He now faces charges including larceny from a motor vehicle and drunk driving.
