EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - It's games like this that business owners around town really look forward to. Last week, the University of Michigan game brought in crowds that exceeded expectations and many are preparing for even bigger numbers after Indy.
Reno's East spent the afternoon stocking up, getting delievers from nearly every supplier to make sure they're ready.
"We get people for the game, during the game and then our after game rush, so it's just a huge night for us," said Jessie Stipcak, Reno's East owner.
The game will start a little earlier this week and the rush afterward is expected to jump because of that. Stipcak says they're expecting to be at capacity: over 300 people.
Domino's Pizza on Harrison had a rush that started earlier this morning. By just 11:30, they had deliverd 55 pizzas to the Breslin Center. The twist? It was the MSU alumni, even some who live out of state calling in and buying the pizza for those Izzone fans in line. Jimmy John's also had orders. The idea started on the MSU Red Cedar Message Board and took off.
Reno's will offer free shuttles to the game and expect fans to be going strong after the game.
