Teacher Resigns After Facebook Posting

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - A high school teacher accused of posting inapproriate comments on a student's Facebook page has resigned.

That's according to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot.

Kevin Irish, who has been teaching at Northwest High School since 1996, agreed to step down.

The Citizen Patriot obtained a settlement agreement and the teacher's records through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Police also investigated the case but found nothing illegal.
