The company voluntarily placed the recall as a precaution due to the possible presence of flexible metal mesh in a grain blend product. There have been no reports of consumer complaints or injuries.
Consumers
who have purchased the recalled products are urged to discard the cereal,
but keep the "Best If Used By" code and contact Heartland toll-free at (888)881-6769 for a full refund of the purchase price.
