LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Two Men and a Truck announced Wednesday their plans for a $355,000 grant from the Michigan Strategic Fund.
The grant will be used to expand in Mid-Michigan and create about 125 new, high-skill jobs locally and around 7,000 jobs nationally over the next five years. Located on Belle Chase Way in Delhi Township, the company plans to invest $3.9 million in their new building over the next 18 months.
The jobs will mostly be in IT, marketing and finance, and will pay nearly $50,000 a year.
"Let's keep up that effort to watch Two Men and a Truck and so many other great homegrown Michigan success stories continue that path. We're rooting for you. Your success is our success. And thank you so much for your investment in our state," said Governor Snyder.
Two Men and a Truck was established in Lansing nearly 30 years ago. Now the company has 234 franchises and nearly 4,500 employees across the country and around the world.
