MSP Teams With Big Brothers Big Sisters for At Risk Youth


LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - A new state-wide effort to help serve at risk youth launched Wednesday.

Michigan State Police and Big Brothers Big Sisters formed an alliance that will work together to better Michigan's children. The announcement was made today at the MSP training academy in Lansing.

The goal of the partnership is to reduce alcohol, drug use and violence among other things for at risk youth. The alliance will work to serve at risk youth in the Detroit area, Flint, Saginaw and the Lansing area.
