Meeting On The Local Impact Of The Sequester

There's just one day left until President Obama will be forced to order across the board budget cuts, and Mid-Michigan leaders will meet Thursday to discuss the local impacts.

Just about everyone on Capitol Hill agrees there will be no last minute deal to stop the cuts.

Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero and Ingham County Register of Deed Curtis Hertel Junior plan to take part in the local discussion. This local event is to discuss how the sequester will affect people locally. The event is being called the "Last Supper".

The "Last Supper" will take place Thursday at noon in the Progress Michigan Conference room.
