Carter Found Guilty For Attempting Child Sex Tourism

A federal jury in Miami has found Matthew Carter of Brighton, guilty on five counts of traveling from Florida to Haiti to have sex with minors.

The jury also found Carter guilty of one count of attempting child sex tourism.

Carter was accused of sexually abusing children who lived at the Residential Center he operated in Haiti from 1995 through his arrest in 2011.
