Spartan Fans Upset After One Point Loss To Rival Wolverines

Posted:

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Michigan State basketball fans were forced to cope with a tough loss Sunday evening, after the Spartans lost by one point to their long-time rivals, the Michigan Wolverines.

"Nail biter for sure. Michigan State just plain got outplayed today. Excellent game, but we have to learn to make a few free throws now and then," says Ray Sadler, Michigan State Fan.

While most Michigan State fans say a loss to the Wolverines is a blow to Spartan pride, some say Michigan earned its win. "We need to play the entire 40 minutes of the game. And we did not perform tonight. We don't deserve to win. Credit to Michigan," says Michigan State fan Rachel Woodruff. "It takes everything in me to say that, but credit to Michigan, they played a good game."
