
Incredible High School basketball game Monday night on the opening night of boys district basketball tournament action.
Lansing Catholic beat Williamston in Double Overtime 72 to 64.
Jim Kodet of Williamston hit one an incredible shot, a 55-foot buzzer beater at the end of the first overtime to tie the game and send it into a second overtime. Kodet scored 13 points and Tom Cotter scored 21 points and had a buzzer beating blocked shot at the end of regulation to keep Lansing Catholic from winning the game in regulation.
Dillon Rush hit some huge shots for Lansing Catholic and led the Cougars with 20 points.
Matthew Fata scored 22 and freshman Tony Poljan scored 19.
It was a game for the ages.
