Post Office Renamed In Honor OF U.S. Marine

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A suburban Detroit post office is being renamed in honor of a U.S. Marine from Michigan who died in 2010 while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan.

The Detroit News reports that a dedication ceremony is Friday to rename a post office in Macomb County's Macomb Township as the Lance Cpl. Anthony A. DiLisio Clinton-Macomb Carrier Annex.

The 20-year-old from Macomb Township died May 30, 2010. He was part of the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
