Police Make Arrest in Connection to Lansing Homicide

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Lansing police have arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with a homicide on the city's east side.

Officers say they responded to a call of a fight around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday at a duplex on the 200 block of South Fairview. When they arrived, officers said they found the body of Donald Anthony Taylor, 24.

LPD has since confirmed that what neighbors heard was actually not a confrontation, it was witnesses finding Taylor's body. Those people are not being considered suspects in the case.

The cause of death is still unknown.

It's the city's fourth homicide of the year.
