Morning Accident Causes Traffic to Crawl

Posted:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - A two vehicle accident at the corner of Saginaw and Grand River near Frandor brought traffic to a crawl around 11a.m. Friday.

Officials say a silver Pontiac Grand Prix ran a red light and crunched into the side of a box truck. The driver of the Pontiac was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.

Officials want to use the incident to warn drivers to watch for tricky intersections like this one.
