Volunteers Shave Their Heads to Raise Money for Childhood Cancer Research

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Over 40 volunteers gathered at Reno's West Sports Bar & Grille this afternoon to have their heads shaved for a good cause.

The event raised over $10,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a volunteer-driven and donor-centered charity dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research.

The Foundation hosts signature head-shaving events where volunteers collect pledges and then shave their heads in solidarity with children fighting cancer.

St. Baldrick's has raised over $100,000,000 since it's founding in 2000.
