Second Meth Lab in Two Weeks Found in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, Mich. (WLNS) -Three people were arrested in connection to a meth lab found in Charlotte on Wednesday.

Eight people were found inside the home. The woman who lived there and another man were arrested for operating a meth lab. Another man was also arrested for an unrelated warrant.

A detective with Michigan State Police said this is the second lab found in the City of Charlotte in the last two weeks. The first one was a home explosion on March 2 on the 100 block of East Lawrence St.

Officials said that meth labs are becoming more common in cities like Charlotte, a change from five or six years ago where they were mostly in rural areas.
