TMSG: Dapper Dads and Dudes

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Three local business have partnered up for fashion and fun to raise money for women's health in mid-Michigan

It's an idea that came to Karen Granneman three years ago and now thanks to the U-Club, Kositchek's and Sparrow, it's here again in full fashionable form.

The charity fundraiser features many familiar local faces, all ready to rock the runway this year to benefit the Women Working Wonders Foundation. And the public gets to decide who's the most dapper.

"We always say vote early and vote often. It's not like a regular election, you can vote as many times as you want and everybody wins," said Greanneman.

Each vote is a $5 donation to the foundation, but it also gives the gussied up guys a fun community competition.

Always smiling, Bob Hoffman from the Wharton Center says it's also about making lasting local relationships, something these well-suited gents are fittingly well-suited for.

"When you give back to the community, the community gives back to you, so why not take part, why not give back," said Hoffman.

"Anything dealing with charity is near to my heart and I'm a father now, too, so I wanted to be involved with such a great cause," said consultant Lindsay Huddleston.

The Dapper Dads and Dudes voting goes from Friday until early June, when all 33 of the guys, including Evan, will model Kositchek's styles at a special downtown fashion show. For more information and to vote for your favorite gentleman, visit Seen on 6.
