Traffic Re-directed Due to Gas Leak

Posted:

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - A gas leak forced officials to re-direct traffic in East Lansing Monday afternoon.

The East Lansing Fire Department said crews accidently struck a gas line on the corner of Michigan and Delta Court, near the MSU campus. It all stems from the major road construction taking place there.

Consumers Energy stopped the leak in about half an hour and are now making minor repars.

No one was hurt in the accident.
