Man Shot Near Meijer, Drives to Parking Lot for Help


LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - A man was found with gunshot wounds on Saturday at the Meijer on West Saginaw in Delta Township. Police have now ruled that the shooting did not take place there.

Reports now state that the 23-year-old Lansing man was shot in another location near the Lansing Mall, then he drove himself to the parking lot and asked for help.

He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Detectives are investigating several leads, but no suspects have been identified at this time. They don't believe this is a random act.
