EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Spartan fans lucked out in getting to see the team play close to home for their first two games of the NCAA tournament, but now MSU travels to Indianapolis for a big showdown against Duke. So what will it cost to grab a ticket to that game?
On Stub Hub, tickets start at $90 a piece for the Louisville v. Oregon and MSU v. Duke games Friday night. But bring your binoculars--those tickets are in the upper deck and Lucas Oil Stadium is a huge venue. If you want to get closer to the action, expect to pay some big bucks. The ticket prices soar into the thousands.
Now should the Spartans win on Friday and take down Duke, tickets for Sunday are already on sale. On Stub Hub, there are about 3,000 tickets available. If you just want to get in the building to be a part of the action, nosebleed tickets for Sunday's Regional Final at Lucas Oil Stadium are going for $42 a piece.
Once the closer you get to the court, the higher the price. If you want to get close to the floor, you'll pay a hefty tab for Sunday's game, aruond $3,000 a piece.
Another cool fact. Being hauled to Atlanta right now is the basketball court floor, made in the U.P. Connor Sport Court International began working on the floor last year. It will make stops at college campuses on it's way to Georgia. Check out it's assembly in the video above.
