Michigan National Guard Reinstates Tuition Assistance


LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The Michigan National Guard has decided to reinstate tuition assistance after it was stopped in early March.

Officials are working on requirements for the newly approved budget bill and hope to have a plan within the next few days.

Michigan National Guard spokesperson Capt. Aaron Jenkins said in a release, "Tuition assistance is a great force multiplier for all of our troops and we are glad that it will be available for them once again."
