WHITE LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a body found over the weekend in southeast Michigan may be that of a 40-year-old man reported missing in February.
The Oakland Press of Pontiac reports the body was found Saturday in a field in Oakland County's White Lake Township, about 30 miles northwest of Detroit.
The medical examiner's office says the cause of death is hypothermia. Police say the death doesn't appear to involve foul play, but they're awaiting toxicology results.
Police say the body wasn't visible from the road and was found by some young people who were in the field. They alerted an adult, who notified police.
