Police Chase Led By Teenagers

A fight that started at Eastern High School ended with a police chase.

Around 2 A.M. Lansing Police say three girls were fighting, and when they spotted an officer, they jumped into a van and took off.

The short chase led police down West Shiawassee Street onto Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. The speeds varied and reached up to 80 mph at some points.

Police say that they used stop-sticks at MLK and Holmes roads, and the van eventually came to a stop just a few blocks away.

Although the chase didn't end there, police say the teens took off running and police arrested two of the teens. No word yet on the third teen.
