LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - Raulie Casteel was expected back in court Thursday for a pre-trial in Oakland County Circuit Court, according to our media partners at WHMI. However, the hearing was pushed back until May 30 to allow for a forensic examination.
Casteel faces over 60 charges in Oakland County, including attempted murder after shooting at vehicles on the I-96 corridor.
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is prosecuting the case for Livingston, Shiawassee and Ingham counties. He faces terrorism, attempted murder and felony firearms. He's due back in court April 12 for those cases.
Two dozen shootings occurred last fall in the four-county area. One man was injured.
