Man Takes Police on High Speed, Drunken Chase



A 26-year-old Handy Township man is behind bars Thursday after leading police on a drunken, high speed chase.

It started around 1:30a.m. on west bound I-96. Police say they clocked the man at a whopping 120 miles per hour.

The driver eventually lead police through Howell and continued west on Mason Road. He eventaully lost control and crashed near the Truhn intersection.

The man was arrested for fleaing police and drunk driving.
