Orange Barrel Update: New and Old Projects


LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Construction crews are out across mid-Michigan, tackling several projects.



Northbound Pennsylvania Avenue is closed between Mount Hope and Pershing Drive. Board of Water & Light crews are working on the water service in the area. Work should be wrapped up by early afternoon.

Livingston County

There will be lane closures on US-23 in Green Oak Township between M-36 and 8 Mile Road starting at 10p.m. Friday.

There will also be lane closures on US-23 in Hartland, between Crouse and Clyde Roads starting at 9p.m.

Ingham County


MDOT crews are making repairs to Lake Lansing Road over US-127. As a result, there are some lane closures and a lane shift.

In East Lansing, crews are working on a section of Grand River Avenue, between Coolidge and Park Lake Roads. There are lane shifts and closures there as well.
