MI Supreme Court to Review Dismember, Murder Case



LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - A case involving a man suspected in a gruesome murder is headed to the State Supreme Court.

The court will be looking at whether or not George Tanner, 29, was told by officers he would have an attorney provided for him before he made his murder confession.

Tanner is accused of murdering Christopher Townsend, 40, and dismembering and burning his body in October of 2011.
