Michigan Advances to National Championship

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- It's official. The University of Michigan will advance to the NCAA Men's Basketball finals.

The U of M Wolverines beat the Syracuse Orange 61 to 56 Saturday night at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

Though Lansing is thought of as Spartan Country, Michigan fans decked out in Maize and Blue filled the seats of Lansing and East Lansing sports bars.

The Wolverines will play against the Louisville Cardinals for the national championship Monday, April 8th. Tip off is scheduled for 9:23 p.m.
