Mid-Michigan Man Dies In Four-Story Fall

Posted:

Authorities say a mid-Michigan man has died after falling four stories in a Grand Rapids entertainment complex.

City police say 21-year-old Zachary Bunting of Grand Ledge had entered an open stairwell about 2 a.m. Sunday in an attempt to slide down a railing at the complex known as "The B.O.B."

Officers and firefighters tried to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.

The B.O.B., an acronym for "Big Old Building," is a four-story, multi-venue facility in a former downtown warehouse.
