WATERLOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - Police busted into a Jackson County home and discovered two rooms full of marijuana.
It happened on Territorial Road in Waterloo Township on Wednesday morning.
Police discovered two bedrooms filled with marijuana plants and an "impresssive irrigation and ventilation system." Township Police Chief Tom Cotrell said the authorities were suspicous of the residence after they responded to a fire at the property about a week ago.
Officials say the man was using specific lighting and temperature controls to grow the pot, equipment they say may have been stolen.
The man living in the home refused to let authorities in to further investigate damage after the fire which raised suspicions of what was going on in the home.
