Jury Deliberates In Grand Ledge Sex Abuse Case

GRAND LEDGE, Mich (WLNS) -- After a day of closing arguments and deliberation, a jury has not yet reached a decision in the case of a Grand Ledge teacher accused of having sex with two male students who attended his school.

Jason Algra, 34, is charged with eight counts of criminal sexual conduct. The charges stem back to an alleged sexual relationship from 2011.

Algra denies the allegations.

Court officials say the jury will reconvene on Friday morning at 8:45.
