Michigan Sees Decrease of On-The-Job Deaths


LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - There's better news when it comes to worker's safety in the state: the number of work-place deaths in Michigan fell last year.


Preliminary results from an MSU study show that as an estimated 127 workers died on the job in 2012, compared to 141 in 2011.

Agriculture saw the most deaths on the job with 17. While the construction industry had the second most at 15, followed by transportation and warehousing with 13.
