Officials Find Missing Girl Out of Delhi Township

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The Ingham County Sheriff is asking for the public's help in finding a young girl.

Jamia Janay Tyson, 12, who also goes by Mia, has been missing since April 20 after having an argument with her mother. Over the last week, Jamia has been seen in the Lansing area, including on N. Turner Street, Bradley Street and at the CATA bus station in the city.

She is 5'5" and 140lbs. Jamia was last seen wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans.

She is originally from Taylor, Michigan and police say it's possible she may try to return there.
