$15,000 Donated for Reward in Missing Woman Case

Posted:

NORTON SHORES, Mich. (AP) - Exxon Mobil and others have donated $15,000 to a reward program established following the disappearance of a 25-year-old mother and gas station night clerk.

The reward might help prompt tips in the search for Jessica Heeringa, who was last seen Friday.

Police on Wednesday released a second surveillance video showing a van that's believed to be connected to the disappearance. A surveillance video earlier was released from a tavern near the suspected abduction site.

Both videos show a silver or gray Chrysler minivan.

Also Wednesday, Norton Shores police Chief Daniel Shaw says investigators questioned and released the driver of a silver minivan after getting tips about him.

There were no signs of a struggle at the Exxon Mobil gas station in Norton Shores where Heeringa was working when she disappeared.
