Three really good reasons to build a deck

Maybe you are on the fence (or the deck railing) about building a deck. You'd like to have one, but you're just not sure if you want to go for it. Between finding the right contractor, making time to plan the project, and laying out the cash, building a deck can be discouraging. But seriously? Look at these decks. Don't they make you want to build a deck?

Reason 1 to build a deck: It gives you somewhere to watch the sun set, and to relax at night. Where else can you enjoy those breezy summer nights that are coming this summer?

Reason 2 to build a deck: It makes the most of a small yard. This stone deck was built by Atlanta hardscapers. It makes the most of a narrow area. If your yard is small, you might get more usable space from it by building a deck around its perimeter.

Reason 3 to build a deck: A deck is the ultimate place to have a party. This multi-level deck in Provincetown, MA offers room for barbecuing, mingling, and maybe even dancing in the moonlight.
