EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Michigan State University wrapped up its first weekend of commencement ceremonies this evening.
After a long weekend of celebrating their accolades, graduates now have their degrees in hand. As they close the books on their time at MSU, it's time to open a new one on life's next chapter.
Graduates of the School of Engineering greeted their family and friends with hugs and well wishes.
Many of these graduates said they already have jobs lined up, or are going on to graduate programs.
When asked what they will miss the most about their time as a Spartan, one answer remained consistent.
"The football games," said MSU graduate Anthony Cromartie. "The football games were just fabulous. Just standing up, chanting, seeing our team score and win. I mean, it was just the best experience."
Medical and Law Degree candidates will walk across the stage next weekend. Also tonight, the College of Education graduates received their diplomas at the Breslin Center.
