Sporting Goods Store Robbed of Guns and Silencers

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - Police are looking for the suspects responsible for breaking and entering into Schupbach's Sporting Goods. They got away with two guns and several silencers.

It happened around 9p.m. Thursday.

Police say there was no sign of forced entry and can only speculate as to how the thief got into the building. Dep. Chief John Holda said, "it's possible somebody may have been hiding inside the building when they closed and then exited out the front door and that's what set the alarm off."

They do have security cameras and that footage is still being reviewed.

Regardless, police agree it's concerning that there are more guns on the streets.
