Suspects Arraigned After Breaking Into Vehicles

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Two suspects have been arraigned after breaking into cars in the parking lot of a Quality Dairy in Lansing.

Quality Dairy employees called police shortly after 1 A.M. from the 1500 block of Waverly Road, when officials say two males in their late teens broke into vehicles in the parking lot.

One suspect was arrested on scene, and the other lead a short police chase. He was stopped and arrested in the Kensington Meadows Mobile Home Park off of Jolly Road in Lansing.

Eduardo Cortes and Fredrick Brandown Wallace were both arraigned for larceny from a motor vehicle, assaulting/resisting a police officer and malicious destruction of personal property.

They are expected back in court later this month.
