Rep. Mike Rogers Agrees With President On IRS Scandal

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Michigan Representative and Chairman of the United States House Intelligence Committee Mike Rogers says he agrees with the president about the IRS scandal.

He says any government agency that uses private information for political intimidation is unacceptable and says those involved will be held accountable.

"I don't care if you're a republican or a democrat or a liberal or a conservative, wherever you fall on the political spectrum, this should be concerning to you and we can't let it stand. So we need to fully investigate this and the people responsible need to be brought to justice," said Rogers.

Recently, the FBI Agent's Association recommended that Rogers fill the FBI's vacancy and become director of the organization. Rogers himself is a former FBI agent.
